Navigator™ Delivery System

Carticept Medical has developed the Navigator™ Delivery System (Navigator DS) an integrated, computer-controlled, fluid delivery system designed to automate the delivery of fluid or medication delivery for the benefit of both the patient and physician.

The current device offers improved efficiency with the ability of a single operator to treat multiple patients by simply loading up to three conventional multi-dose vials on the system’s connection ports.  The system is programmed via a color touch-screen interface on the front of the unit. When commanded, the pump precisely delivers the programmed prescription dose through the ergonomic handpiece.

The screen provides the user with a real-time record of the specified fluid/medication, prescription volume and an image of the syringe displaying the delivery status. Delivery data is recorded electronically and is available via USB port or can be printed.

Carticept Medical has submitted a 510(k) application to FDA and expects to launch the the system in 2010.
